Looking for New Friends to Review Books!

Hi! Maxx loves to read to me and we love going to the library. In fact, we're going tomorrow!

If you have a book that you have read this summer, write a short book review and I will publish your book review and your picture (if your parents say it's ok!!!) here on my blog!!

Betty and I love books and we're always looking for new ones! Please leave a comment here or email my best friend Maxx at animallovermaxx@gmail.com and tell me that you want to write a book review!

Have a great day!

Baseball, tents and Chinese food!

Last week, I went to Maxx's friend Matt's house for my first sleepover. This was pretty exciting because I knew we might get to stay up late!

First I got to see Matt's big brother's baseball game.I don't know who won because I wasn't paying attention. I don't even understand baseball but I would like to learn one day. I need to pay more attention but I was busy running around.

After the game, we got to go to a yummy Chinese restaurant called The Islander. Maxx knows how much I like teriyaki ! Yummy.

When we got back to Matt's house we played a baseball game on Playstation 2. Well, Maxx and Matt played. I watched. It looked harder than real baseball.

After that we played Legos for a little bit. I like Legos. Sometimes Betty and I play with them at home.

The most fun was when we were done we got to go upstairs and make a tent! Then we watched a movie and fell asleep. I wonder if I was snoring? I was pretty tired from this fun day.

In the morning we had some breakfast. We had scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, and English muffins. I ate so much my belly felt really big.

I sure needed some exercise after that feast, so we all went outside to play baseball until it was time to go home!

I had such a good time at Matt's sleepover! I can't wait to go back again!!

I'm Not A Doll, I'm Herman!!

The other day, Betty and I went to visit Maxx's Grandpa and Grandma. We did some fun things. First we played with Maxx and Mya's remote control cars. Then we got hungry so we got to go to Burger King for lunch. I sort of wanted to go to Boston Market but Maxx's grandparents said no. Oh well.

When we were on our way to have lunch, Maxx's Grandma said my sister Betty was a nasty little rat. That was so mean. It made me a little mad.

Maxx's Grandpa called ME a DOLL!!! A DOLL?? Doesn't he know I'm Herman?? I got really grumpy when he said that!

When Betty and I got picked up by Maxx's dad, Maxx's Grandpa went to the store and bought 6 huge packages of water bottles and 30 rolls of toilet paper. That's a lot of toilet paper. While we were at the store, Maxx bought me eye drops because my eyes get really itchy in the sun. He also surprised me and let me pick out a pair of really cool sunglasses!! I really love them...and Maxx, too.

Shake, Shake Like A Milkshake!

What a treat I had today. Betty and I went out with Maxx and his family (well, they are my family, too!!) to run some errands. Maxx's brother Zach had to go to the doctor because he had a sore throat (I get sick a lot so I felt bad!). After that Zach thought a milkshake would help his sore throat so WE GOT TO GET ONE, TOO! I love chocolate milkshakes and Betty likes vanilla. We might be brother and sister but we do not always like the same thing.

Let me tell you what was the coolest thing. I never got to get a milkshake and go to a drive thru...ever!! I got to shout the order in the speaker. I don't know how they fit the lady in the little speaker who talks back to me. That's REALLY weird.

I went a little crazy in the car while we were at the drive thru. I shouldn't have gotten out of my seat belt, but the car was stopped and I really, really wanted to try the radio and hold the steering wheel. It's SO big!

We had to get home fast after that. A big, big thunderstorm was coming and it started raining really hard. Betty was really scared but I pretended I wasn't. I'm glad I didn't get all wet.

I will write more adventures later. I have so many! I'd like to hear about your summer adventures, too!

Balloons Bigger than My Head???

I was just thinking about the birthday party I had January 9th. Maxx invited his friends and I got to have a great 6th birthday party. Two of Maxx's friends came over. Their names are Matt and Nick. Matt bought me pajamas, a leather jacket, and green motorcycle goggles. We got to play volleyball with balloons bigger than my head!

We had delicious chocolate cupcakes that Maxx's Mom made. I blew out six candles at once! The funniest thing that happened at my party was when a cupcake fell on Betty's face! She was really messy but she didn't mind.

I had a great time at my party. I wonder what will happen next year?

That Was GOOD Chicken!

I love food and Maxx and Mya always have dinner with Betty and me. When Maxx's Mom makes her famous "Darn Good Chicken" we rush to the table.

Tonight I got to try Root Beer for the first time. I went crazy. Maxx is not allowed to have soda very often, so this was a big treat. It has lots of bubbles in it and they go up my nose. I almost sneezed in the chicken. THAT would be gross.

Betty eats too fast and she always tries to get my food, too. I have to learn to eat faster but I talk a lot. Betty hates soda. She thinks it is spicy. What is she talking about? Peppers are spicy. Soda is nicey.

Right now I am running around the house with Maxx because I have a sugar rush. Maxx gets sugar rushes all the time when his Mom allows him to have soda. I can't wait til the next time I get to have a sugar rush. This is FUN! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Time to go brush my teeth with Maxx. He told me that my teeth would fall out if I didn't brush them after having Root Beer. I really listen to Maxx because he is my best friend.

Those Crazy Ducks!

Hey there! This weekend I did two exciting things! I went to the park and fed the ducks. Well, I tried to feed the ducks. They almost ate me.

I went to the park first and I loved the swings. Maxx pushed me for a long time until I got tired. I even got to try the monkey bars and the slide! I got blisters on my hands from the monkey bars...they were the size of monkeys.

When we got to the duck pond, there were so many ducks. Betty and I were a little afraid because the ducks started running at us right away. They saw we had a huge loaf of bread and I guess they were hungry. I bent down to try to be nice to them and then they started quacking at us really loud and snapping their beaks at my foot. We threw the loaf of bread on the ground! Maxx and his sister, Mya, grabbed us and ran away as fast as they could. They saved us!!

All I can say is be careful around crazy ducks! They are cute but they sure get angry when they are hungry.

Welcome to Herman's Wacky World!

Hi! My name is Herman and I have a sister named Betty Spaghetti. Thanks for stopping by my blog! I am going to be telling you about all of my wacky adventures. Right now, I am on summer vacation so the adventures should be really great.

I am six years old and my sister, Betty, is seven and three quarters years old. So, that means she's older than me (and taller).

I live in Rhode Island with a great family. My best friend is Maxx. He is 10 years old and he will be going into the 5th grade in September. Maxx has an older brother, Zach, who is almost 13 and loves to skateboard all day. Maxx's little sister is named Mya. She is 7 years old and is Betty's best friend. In my house, there is also a crazy cat named Marie, 23 hermit crabs (they stink!) and a tadpole named Taddy. Oh and let me not forget Maxx's Mom. I don't think she would want me to tell you how old she is, so I won't.

So, I live with a huge family and it's a lot of fun. Maxx takes me everywhere. That is why I have a blog so you can share my adventures with me!

Please write to me or leave a comment. I love getting mail so you can email me at Maxx's email and I will be sure to get back to you. (animallovermaxx@gmail.com)

Maybe I will travel to a town near you so you can meet me!

Hope your summer is a wacky adventure, too!!
